Sparkly (See-Through) Sweater Nails — GASP!
Hello, lovely readers! Today I have a fun (and easy!) mani to share with you. I’ve seen so many gorgeous negative space manis on Instagram lately, and I wanted to give it a try, but with a little twist.
I started with just my regular clear base coat, then stamped the sweater design using Winstonia plate W120 and Konad Black polish. I added the little half moons at the bottom by hand with Zoya “Willa”. My original intention was to just use the sweater design by iteslf, but my nails are massive and a little on the long side these days, so the image on the plate didn’t quite cover my nails. I had to fill in the nail with something, and I think the half moons were a good solution.
I topped that with HK Girl fast drying top coat to prevent smearing, then added a generous layer of “Fairy Dust” by China Glaze… because Fairy Dust makes everything better! Then I topped everything with another coat of HK Girl and it was done. Pretty easy and kinda fancy.
I liked this mani so much I actually wore it for four whole days! LOL I usually get bored and change my polish after a day, maybe two.
What do you think of this design? Is this something you would try? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading!
