Sweet & Simple Stamping
Hello, lovely readers and HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are ready for 2015. Have you made any new year’s resolutions? One of the things I’d like to work on this year is adding more tutorials to my blog and on Instagram… Unfortunately I came up with this idea after I did this mani. LOL It’s definitely something to work towards though.
In the mean time, I have a sweet & simple stamping mani to share with you today.
For this design, I started with 2 easy coats of Ciaté “Amazing Gracie”. I picked this polish up at Marshall’s on a whim and I’m so glad I did. It went on smoothly and the color is so delicate. I absolutely love it! I topped it with one coat of Essie “Shine of the Times”. This polish still amazes me every time I use it. It makes my nails look like opals.
Even though this mani was coming along nicely, I still wanted to add another layer of interest, so I decided to add some stamping. Plus, that meant I got to use one of my favorite Christmas presents… Liquid Palisade by Kiesque. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try this and see what all the fuss is about. Let me tell you, the fuss is real, people! lol This stuff is amazing! I painted it on around my nails and let it dry. (It dried very quickly… less than a minute.) I stamped all of my nails using a design from my MoYou London Pro XL plate #10 with Konad Gold. Then I just peeled off the Liquid Palisade from around my nails and VOILA! All cleaned up! I am SO impressed. I’m going to be using this stuff like crazy, I can tell.
Finally, I added a quick coat of HK Girl Top Coat and a couple pink rhinestones that I picked up at Five Below and this mani was done. I love the final result.
Here are some more photos.
What do you think of this mani? Is it something you would wear?
Thank you all for reading. I hope you all have a wonderful 2015.
