Untried Polish – Emily de Molly “The Fifth Element”
So today, I had the urge to try something I’ve had for a while but never used. I’m pretty sure I picked this up at Llarowe a while back (check for availability). I have no excuse for ignoring this beauty. It’s sad that this is the first time I’ve used this polish, but I’m SO happy I finally did!
This is “The Fifth Element” by Emily de Molly (international stockists are listed on her site). This is a perfect turquoise crelly base with intense red and hot orange glitters that is just eye-popping. But it’s not just the red glitters… there are some holographic turquoise glitters in there too. Altogether, it makes for a classic — and AMAZING — indie polish. This is three thin, easy coats plus topcoat.
I wanted to add a little accent to this and decided on an angled chevron design. I used Essie “Hip-anema” and Julep “Lani”. I was so happy with how well these colors coordinated with “The Fifth Element”. I used some chevron NailVinyls to create the accent nail.
Hope you like this mani. It certainly made this gloomy, rainy day a little brighter.
Thanks for reading!
